The Children's Ministry serves children from birth through grade 5. The focus is to provide an atmosphere of love and acceptance for children where they can be nurtured in God's love. By providing various age appropriate opportunities for worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and evangelism, children are further encouraged to grow in their understanding of God and are encouraged to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord. Through the Children's Ministry, the seeds of God's truth are sown, watered with love and nurtured for the Lord's harvest.
The Team:
At the Covenant Church, there is a core Children's Ministry Team led by Roseann Slater, Director of Children's Ministries and Paula Keegan, Children's Ministry Co-Chair. A small group of adults serve on the core ministry with many others providing the support and commitment using their time and talent to serve the Lord by serving children. We are always eager to welcome any adult or young person who feels led to work with the children at the Covenant Church.
